GLORY Champ Tiffany Van Soest's Warm Up Routine
A good warm up VASTLY enhances your workout, prevents injuries, and speeds up recovery.
Dynamic stretching as opposed to static stretching is CRITICAL as a warm up. You also must activate your entire body - the body works in unison and if there is one tight area and weak links it will slowly become UNIVERSAL in messing up your mechanics and producing OVERALL tightness.
This is something you must take care of, the earlier you start the less time you'll need to spend on it later on.
A mistake so many people make is not caring about the warm up, and the cool down, and the recovery periods in between... only focusing on "training intensity."
It is ALL interlinked, the quality of your warm up, cool down, and recovery will DIRECTLY affect your training intensity, quality, and quantity.
DO NOT DISREGARD MOBILITY! Tiffany spends 30 minutes on her warm up for good reasons!
